Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in CT imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to work with advanced imaging technology while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure.
Schedule:
Sunday day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with on-call responsibilities Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited program Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT (CT) Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred Strong working knowledge of patient safety protocols and imaging equipment Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach Ability to respond quickly to urgent situations and prioritize multiple tasks BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT procedures according to physician orders, adhering to best practices and facility protocols Act as the primary interface with patients and families, ensuring a reassuring and efficient imaging experience Monitor imaging quality and promptly address any equipment or procedural issues Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results Document procedures, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to regulatory standards for imaging and safety Remain available for on-call needs during scheduled hours, promptly responding to emergent imaging requests Experience a supportive work atmosphere that values professional growth and dedication to patient well-being.
