Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in advanced imaging as a highly skilled MRI Technologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with substantial MRI experience looking to work with cutting-edge Siemens equipment and collaborate on specialized procedures in a dynamic setting.
Schedule & Hours:
Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed) Flexible assignment: any 3 shifts per week, Monday - Sunday No nights and no on-call required Minimum 13-week contract
Key Qualifications:
Active ARRT (MR) certification required Minimum of 5 years' MRI experience Proven ability to work independently — one tech per machine Confident in IV placement Familiarity with Epic workflow required MRSO certification preferred Experience assisting with breast biopsies and supporting research studies highly valued Primary duties and responsibilities: Operate Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners to provide high-quality diagnostic images Facilitate all exam protocols with precision and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure Initiate IVs and administer contrast following established protocols Assist physicians during breast biopsies and contribute to ongoing research studies as needed Manage patient data using Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Float between three state-of-the-art imaging locations in Greensboro and Burlington as required Step into a supportive professional environment where your expertise is valued and your independence is encouraged.
