Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of Candler, NC—a gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains where rich history and outdoor adventure await. As a travel MRI Technologist, you'll have the chance to work evenings in a region celebrated for its welcoming communities and sweeping vistas. Beyond your shifts, enjoy hiking, local art, and renowned culinary experiences while making a meaningful impact in healthcare. Professionally, this role places you in a dynamic hospital environment utilizing GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR. You'll engage with a dedicated staff of imaging professionals and gain valuable exposure to varied practices and leadership styles. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise, enhance your resume, and master advanced MRI procedures—including contrast and non-contrast scans, with a special edge if you have breast MRI experience.
Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating weekends
Qualifications:
Active MRI certification required Registered in MRI Experience in MRI contrast and non-contrast studies Breast MRI experience preferred Ability to adapt to new technology (GE equipment) and EMR (Cerner) Team-oriented, flexible, and eager to contribute to a collaborative setting
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures accurately and efficiently Operate GE MRI systems and maintain safety protocols Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver optimal patient care Adhere to hospital policies and uphold professional standards Rotate weekend shifts as scheduled
