Radiology Technologist / X-Ray Tech Connections Healthcare Staffing Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time $28 - $42 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification Full Job Description Our client, a large hospital located near Charlotte, NC, has a need for a Rad Tech to join their team. The shift is Weekend Days 7:00a- 7:00p (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday). They are offering a Sign on bonus of $15k and Relocation up to $10k Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties. Major Responsibilities Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. Prepares and administers contrast media as required. Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary. Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards. Minimum Job Requirements Education Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology.
Certification / License
Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. CPR certification required.
