Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support a busy neurosurgery and neurology office within a large and well-equipped clinic. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized environment serving both adult and pediatric patients, performing high-volume outpatient spine and head imaging as well as injection procedures. You'll enjoy a structured weekday schedule with minimal floating and no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts) No weekends, holidays, or on-call coverage required Occasional and rare floating to nearby campuses may occur; floating is minimized and well-supported
Qualifications:
ARRT certification and active BLS required At least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred Open to first-time travelers ready for a fast-paced outpatient clinic Skilled in imaging of spine (scoliosis/shunt series), neck, and head for adults and children Comfort using c-arm for procedures; adaptability to learn new exams and systems Experience with EPIC EMR, PACS, Shimadzu X-ray, and GE OEC C-arm equipment a plus Willingness to perform occasional clerical/admin duties (e.g., making CDs) Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology images, primarily for spine/head and injection procedures Support a daily census of approximately 60 patients, adapting to both adult and pediatric needs Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, fellow technologists, and multiple clinic providers Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using EPIC and Intellaspace PACS Follow departmental protocols and help keep clinic workflow smooth in a busy setting
