The mammography department does a variety of exams, such as SCR and Diagnostic Mammograms, along with Wire/Seed Locs, Stereotactic Biopsies, and DEXAs. We are looking for a technologist to mainly do the SCR and Diagnostic Mammograms. The facility is a high-volume mammography department.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have 1 year of recent Mammography Tech experience

Compliance Requirements:

40 hours of training, 25 supervised mammograms, 8 CEUs for initial training in 2D and 3D, 15 CEU's in mammography in the last 2 years. 200 mammograms in the last 12 months. Must be documented on letterhead from the current healthcare facility.

Work Setting:

Adult Outpatient Patient Population:

Adults and Geriatrics Procedures:

3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, and Screening Mammograms.

EMR:

Epic experience required PACS experience required ER/Bone Densitometry experience preferred

Durham, NC Rate:

$2,640 - $2.800/weekly

Shifts Available:

Days:

8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Thursday), 8:00am-4:30pm (Fridays), 5x8 hour shifts ​​​​​​​

Scheduling Requirements:

Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40

No Call No Weekends Credential Requirements:

Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment Diploma - approved school for Radiologic Technology ARRT(R)(M) with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Mammography Tech BLS Certification (AHA required only)
