Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise as a CT Technologist on a contract assignment within a bustling imaging department equipped with advanced technology and serving diverse patient populations. This role is structured around a consistent day shift, ideal for those seeking work-life balance while enhancing their clinical skills in a professional, supportive environment.
Schedule:
8-hour Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 40 hours per week On-call required: 2-3 shifts/month (call back as needed) No weekend rotation Coverage needed for 75% of scheduled holidays
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent CT imaging experience ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT BLS certification required Strong skills in starting peripheral IVs, performing venous/arterial phase and multi-phase scanning Proficiency with stroke imaging (including perfusion), colorectal studies, and cardiac CT (day shift focus) Familiarity with TeraRecon software is a plus, but not mandatory Experience supporting high patient census and a variety of patient types (ED, inpatient, observation, outpatient) Open to first-time travelers meeting minimum experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive CT studies, including guided invasive procedures and those requiring anesthesia Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring quality and patient safety Accurately document patient information using EPIC EMR and related radiology systems Adapt to department demands, maintaining efficiency with high volumes and complex cases
Environment & Support:
Work in a department featuring three state-of-the-art CT scanners and robust imaging support Administrative onboarding plus tailored departmental orientation
