Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Skilled CT Technologists are sought for a contract assignment at a high-acuity healthcare environment. This facility offers advanced imaging services and a robust support system in a dynamic hospital setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Various shifts available; must be flexible for weekday and weekend coverage. Department supports Cardiac CT imaging during day shift, seven days a week.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of CT experience. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with advanced registry in CT. Current BLS certification required. Strong proficiency in starting peripheral IVs, performing venous/arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging (including perfusion), and colorectal studies. Familiarity with TeraRecon is preferred but not required. Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements. Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility's home unit per traveler radius policy.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a high volume of CT studies for Emergency, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient units. Support CT-guided invasive procedures and collaborate with Anesthesia teams as needed. Perform comprehensive stroke and multi-phase studies, including weekend coverage. Document patient care and scan information in EPIC EHR, using Epic Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS for case management. Collaborate with Guest Services/Transport for patient flow within the department. Maintain departmental standards for safety, infection control, and patient-centered care.
