Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential role providing quality patient care through interventional radiology procedures within a dynamic healthcare environment. As an Imaging - IR Tech, you'll work collaboratively with medical professionals to deliver precise diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Desired Qualifications and Experience Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with current registration Specialized training and experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) Active and unrestricted state license as required Current BLS certification Knowledge of sterile technique and procedural safety Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure clinical situations Attention to detail and commitment to quality care Duties and Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures under physician direction Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment, supplies, and sterile fields Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records Educate patients on procedures, demonstrating empathy and professionalism Collaborate with nursing and physician teams for cohesive patient care Follow all facility protocols, safety regulations, and infection control guidelines Participate in ongoing professional development and training as needed This is a contract assignment offering a unique opportunity to apply your IR Tech skills in a supportive clinical setting.
