Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role providing high-quality patient care for a reputable healthcare facility. This position centers on interventional radiology, supporting a dynamic department that values expertise and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification with active state licensure required Demonstrated experience as an IR Tech in a clinical setting Proficiency with imaging equipment and safety protocols Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and communicate clearly within a multidisciplinary team Willingness to float to supportive roles as department needs arise
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under physician guidance Ensure safety and comfort for patients before, during, and after procedures Accurately document findings and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocol Respond promptly to emergency on-call/call-back needs Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists Support weekend and holiday service rotations as part of the regular schedule Flexibly adapt to varying workloads and assist other imaging or healthcare units as necessary
