Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Take your imaging expertise to the next level working as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to provide critical diagnostic imaging services, collaborate with skilled professionals, and make a meaningful difference in patient care. You'll work with advanced technology and support physicians in obtaining high-quality radiographic images to guide diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as a Radiologic Technologist Active, unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license Proven experience operating radiographic equipment in a hospital or outpatient setting Comprehensive knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and changing priorities Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to patients undergoing radiology procedures Adhere to all infection control, privacy regulations, and quality assurance standards Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for timely and accurate imaging results Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuous education as required This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals committed to outstanding patient care and the highest standards in radiologic imaging.
