Take your interventional radiology expertise to the next level by working in a robust department performing a high volume of complex cases, including comprehensive stroke interventions, trauma-related procedures, embolizations, and leading-edge neuro procedures. Exposure to a wide range of advanced technologies (including Siemens, GE, and Philips systems) and cross-disciplinary teams ensures significant resume growth and professional development. Beyond your shifts, Kernersville and the nearby Piedmont Triad region invite you to explore lush parks, historic sites, and a thriving arts scene—perfect for memorable downtime adventures.
Schedule Options:
3 x 12-hour, 4 x 10-hour, or 5 x 8-hour shifts (0800 starts) Expect 3-4 on-call days per month, with weekend call every 5-6 weekends Schedules set in 4-6 week cycles 75% holiday coverage if scheduled
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' IR experience (body/neuro) at a Level 1 Trauma Center ARRT-R or RCIS and BLS certification required Skilled in scrubbing/assisting, circulating, and operating high-end radiology equipment Experience or comfort working alongside new graduates and providing preceptorship NIHSS and ACLS certification preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Scrub and assist during interventional radiology, trauma, and neuro procedures Circulate and ensure the seamless operation of equipment and supply chain Collaborate in a team-based environment with support from tech extenders and providers
