Computed Tomography Tech

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take on a pivotal role as an experienced CT/PET Technologist working in a dynamic imaging department. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to perform advanced CT imaging in a collaborative, patient-focused setting.

Schedule:

12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM No on-call or floating requirements Holiday coverage for any holidays falling within your scheduled shifts

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist ARRT (R)(CT) licensure required Active BLS certification Proficiency operating GE CT equipment Strong background in fast-paced, multidisciplinary imaging, including routine and STAT CTs for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases Ability to prioritize exams based on acuity (including Code Strokes), and knowledge of post-processing techniques Familiarity with Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS highly preferred First-time travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic CT imaging for a variety of patient populations (ED, inpatient, outpatient, observation) Ensure timely, high-quality imaging with attention to departmental workflow and patient safety Collaborate fully with radiology staff and other departments to coordinate patient care Utilize GE Revolution Apex CT system and Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injector Adhere to facility policies and participate in an efficient onboarding process
