Job Description

Position Summary $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates Demonstrates knowledge and competency in all MRI procedures. The scope of practice of the MRI Technologist I includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (MR) registry which is the standard of practice in Radiology. Minimum Requirements High school or equivalent (or higher) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Current ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMCTB, ARRT (T), ARRT (US), or RDMS and must pass MRI registry test within 18 months of hire. MRI experience preferred

Health About The Outer Banks Hospital The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor& delivery suite with a dedicated caesarian section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department.
