As a travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech, you'll have the opportunity to work within a leading-edge, academic medical center—an ideal environment to grow your expertise alongside a dynamic team and handle diverse cases typical of a Level 1 Trauma facility. This role allows you to broaden your resume, discover innovative departmental practices, and experience different leadership styles.
Schedule Options:
3 x 12-hour shifts (08:00
  • 18:30) 4 x 10-hour shifts (08:00
  • 18:30) 5 x 8-hour shifts (08:00
  • 16:30) 3-4 call days monthly; weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Friday 16:30 to Monday 08:00) Holiday work as scheduled (75% of holidays, if assigned) Shift cycles every 4-6 weeks
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years' Interventional Radiology experience (Body/Neuro) at a Level 1 Trauma Center ARRT-R or RCIS certification; BLS required Comfortable in environments with new grads and participating in preceptorship if needed Experience in complex embolization, neuro and body IR, and a range of advanced procedures Strong skills in scrubbing, assisting, and circulating during cases Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies:
Siemens, GE, Philips, and EPIC Encompass EMR Daily Responsibilities:
Assist closely with providers in high-volume IR suites Scrub in and circulate on a variety of strokes, traumas, and complex cases Maintain meticulous equipment operation, supply management, and support room turnaround Collaborate with a team consisting of IR techs, RNs, neuro
