Qualifications:
Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Minimum of one year of hands-on CT and X-ray experience in a clinical or hospital environment Proficiency in all required aspects of CT scanning and X-ray imaging procedures Knowledge of radiation safety, proper imaging protocols, and patient positioning BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
Responsibilities:
Perform and document CT and X-ray scans per physician orders, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy Operate equipment safely, adhering to established protocols and ALARA principles for radiation exposure Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support diagnosis and treatment plans Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining steps and addressing concerns to ensure safety and comfort Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and assist with quality control Adhere to infection control, privacy, and documentation standards Participate in ongoing professional education and training as needed This position provides a supportive and professional environment where your technical expertise is valued and your contributions are essential to achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
