Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Explore the vibrant mountain charm of Weaverville, NC while advancing your imaging career in MRI technology. As a traveling MRI technologist, you'll immerse yourself in a dynamic clinical environment, collaborating with a dedicated team that values innovative techniques and patient-centered care. By working alongside experienced staff, you'll gain fresh perspectives on workflow optimization, diverse equipment including GE MRI units, and a multitude of leadership styles—expanding your clinical knowledge and enhancing your credentials for the future.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating weekends
Qualifications:
MRI registration (required) Experience with breast MRI (preferred) Comfortable performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures Strong communication and adaptability in a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of MRI studies, including both contrast and non-contrast imaging Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process Operate GE MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues Maintain accurate documentation via Cerner EMR Adhere to all department standards while wearing black scrubs
