Perfect for MRI technologists passionate about growing their expertise, this travel assignment combines professional enrichment with the opportunity to explore the Appalachian region's natural splendor, arts, and unique local community during your downtime. Embrace the chance to work alongside a dedicated, tight-knit team in a dynamic environment utilizing GE equipment and Cerner EMR. Your duties will include both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures, and you'll gain valuable exposure to breast MRI if you bring that experience to the table. With flexible three 12-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9:00am-9:30pm), there's ample opportunity for adventure outside of work—hike mountain trails, visit craft breweries, and immerse yourself in the friendly atmosphere that makes Weaverville exceptional.
Schedule/Hours:
3x12s, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9:00am-9:30pm
Required Experience & Credentials:
Current MRI registry/certification (Required) Proficient with GE equipment and Cerner EMR Black scrubs dress code Excellent communication and patient care skills Breast MRI experience (Preferred) Previous experience with MRI contrast and non-contrast scans
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations with accuracy and compassion Follow established safety protocols for imaging procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care Maintain equipment and documentation standards
