Job Description

The Lead MRI Technologist serves as a clinical expert for the assigned territory and as a primary trainer for new hires. Performs scanning responsibilities. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Performs clinical scans Trains new hires and conducts ongoing reviews on clinical competencies. Assists with day to day unit operational issues. Works with team and customer on protocol development and review.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT required. State license, if applicable required. CPR certification required - BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association Kaiser only Valid state driver's license, as applicable required. Minimum 3 years technologist experience. Ability to work at several locations. Strong customer service skills. Organizational and multi-tasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs. Local travel may be required. The

Physical Requirements:
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease. More than 50% of the time: Sit, stand, walk. Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs. See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: Stoop, kneel or crawl. Climb and balance. Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam). _________________________________________________________________________________________________
