  • IR Tech Job Type Travel Winston-Salem, nestled in the heart of North Carolina, is a region brimming with Southern charm and vibrant culture.

A travel assignment here offers the unique advantage of expanding your skills in a high-acuity academic medical center while indulging in meaningful adventures during your downtime—from exploring historical landmarks to savoring local festivals. In this Interventional Radiology setting, you'll handle a dynamic caseload in a department equipped with Siemens, GE, Philips imaging systems, and GE ultrasound units, supporting your journey to technical mastery. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team and experience a full spectrum of cases, from acute interventions for stroke to complex embolization and biopsies. With opportunities to collaborate with experienced neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and "green" new grad teams, you'll further develop adaptability and mentorship skills, enriching your resume for future advancement.
Schedule/Hours:
3x12-hour, 4x10-hour (8:00 am
  • 6:30 pm), or 5x8-hour (8:00 am
  • 4:30 pm) shifts available 3-4 call days per month; weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Friday 4:30 pm
  • Monday 8:00 am) 75% holiday coverage if scheduled; up to 2 weeks' orientation provided
Key Qualifications:
2+ years of Interventional Radiology Tech experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center (body/neuro) BLS and ARRT-R or RCIS required Comfortable scrubbing, circulating, and equipment operation for a wide variety of procedures Effective communication and teamwork, including support for newer grads and potential preceptorships
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with comprehensive stroke and body IR cases, including trauma, cancer therapies, vascular access, and neuro procedures Maintain EPIC Encompass documentation and ensure departmental workflow with tech extenders and nurses Support inventory, room turnover, and uphold care standards in fast-paced environments
