Job Description

Where You'll Work At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body, mind, and spirit of every person in a more comfortable, less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality. Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and mammographic equipment. Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner. Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns. Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes. Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
