Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant energy of small-town Nebraska while advancing your skills as a CT technologist in Schuyler. This unique travel assignment places you in a region where friendly communities, scenic landscapes, and Midwestern charm create an inviting environment—perfect for both professional growth and meaningful personal exploration during your time off. As a CT Tech working in an acute care hospital, you will have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals and learn from diverse workplace practices and leadership styles. With a variety of imaging studies performed daily, you'll expand your knowledge and resume, adapting to new protocols and enhancing your adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting. Exploring the local culture, parks, and attractions during your downtime adds another layer of fulfillment to this experience.
Schedule/Hours:
5 x 8-hour shifts preferred (Monday-Friday with varying shifts: 9:30a-6p/8:30a-5p) Alternate options: 4 x 9-hour shifts (7:30a-6p/8a-6:30p), or 4 x 10-hour shifts Sunday-Wednesday nights One weekend per month is required; holiday and call coverage as assigned (minimum response time: 30 minutes) 13-week contract
Qualifications:
ARRT (R)(CT) certification required Current BLS certification Must possess a valid driver's license at submittal to confirm distance eligibility (minimum 50 miles from facility) Proven experience starting IVs Comfortable with Siemens RF & CT, Carestream DRX, and related equipment Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC), PACS (McKesson, Merge), and workflow Artificial nails are not permitted in patient care areas
Responsibilities:
Perform all routine and advanced CT scans (including angio CT, abdomen/pelvis with contrast) Cover general radiology procedures (Chest X-rays, ortho, spines, skulls, etc.) Support scheduling, registration, and non-invasive studies (Holters, EKGs, Zio Monitors) Participate in departmental call rotation and ensure timely response Collaborate with on-site and offsite radiologists, maintain accurate patient records, and uphold hospital policies
