Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Key Skills & Experience:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT - MR preferred) State licensure as required for MRI Technologists Prior hands-on experience working in a clinical MRI setting Proficiency in performing a wide range of imaging studies, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and abdominal MRI scans Knowledge of MRI safety standards for patients and staff Excellent communication skills for coordinating with radiologists, healthcare providers, and patients Ability to adapt to varying workflow and patient needs
Responsibilities:
Operate MRI scanners and auxiliary equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols Maintain accurate records and document imaging procedures in line with regulatory and facility standards Collaborate with radiologists to ensure precise image capturing and support timely diagnosis Monitor equipment operations and promptly report maintenance needs or malfunctions Follow all hospital and departmental policies, including infection control and data security practices Educate patients on the MRI process, addressing questions and alleviating concerns as needed Why Apply?
