Qualifications/Experience:

Proficient in MRI imaging procedures and protocols Previous experience operating MRI equipment required Strong understanding of patient positioning and use of MRI coils Ability to recognize and communicate safety risks related to magnet environments Knowledge of entering patient and scan data into imaging software Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and maintain patient comfort Certification in MRI technology strongly preferred Commitment to patient care and diagnostic quality

Key Responsibilities:

Position patients accurately on the MRI table and use required coils based on radiologist protocols Educate and guide patients about the MRI process, including the communication system used during exams Enter relevant patient history, scan area, and protocol specifics into the imaging system Program scan sequences and make necessary adjustments to capture optimal images Monitor patients remotely for safety and comfort throughout the scanning process Review images during exams to assure clarity and diagnostic quality Photograph and store images for review using MRI system hardware Enforce strict safety procedures, alerting staff and patients to the risks associated with metallic objects in the MRI suite Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned This role offers a chance to apply MRI expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
