Radiology Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging services. Candidates must be capable of working independently in emergency and trauma settings and should have strong experience with OR procedures, portable imaging, and pediatric patients.

05/18/2026 Requirements Active New Jersey Radiology License ARRT Certification required High School Diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting Experience working independently in Emergency Room and Trauma environments OR experience required Portable X-ray experience required Pediatric experience preferred Updated credentials required (no pending credentials accepted) Strong communication and patient care skills Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision Position patients correctly and select appropriate technical imaging factors Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently Perform portable imaging in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments Ensure proper radiation safety and beam restriction techniques Prepare and assist with radiopaque contrast procedures Complete and maintain accurate patient imaging documentation Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver quality patient care Follow all departmental policies, safety standards, and organizational competencies

Pay:

$2,200.00 - $2,600.00 per week
