Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Opportunity available for an experienced professional in medical imaging, focusing on CT and PET/CT modalities. This contract assignment offers a dynamic environment within a well-equipped healthcare setting utilizing Siemens technology. The position is structured for five 8-hour shifts per week on the evening schedule, allowing candidates to enjoy flexibility during daytime hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certification and registration as a CT Technologist Demonstrated expertise in CT and PET/CT imaging procedures Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment is required Ability to operate advanced imaging systems and follow safety protocols Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts per week (evening hours)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct a wide range of CT and PET/CT imaging examinations per physician orders Ensure accuracy in patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality checks Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort Operate Siemens imaging systems; conduct routine maintenance as needed Document patient records and imaging results accurately and timely in EMR systems Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for diagnostic processes Maintain a safe and sterile work environment, adhering to compliance standards This role provides an engaging opportunity to further your career within the imaging field, surrounded by a passionate healthcare team and advanced technology.
