Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Make a meaningful impact by supporting advanced diagnostics and patient comfort as a crucial member of the MRI imaging team. This contract position offers an opportunity to put your imaging expertise to work in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carefully position patients on the examination table, utilizing the specified coil (such as head or knee coil) according to radiologist protocols Clearly demonstrate use of the communication microphone, ensuring seamless interaction between patients and technologists during MRI procedures Enter vital information, including patient history, targeted anatomical area, and scan orientation into the MRI system computer Accurately input key commands to select scan sequences and fine-tune MRI transmitters and receivers as needed Monitor patients' safety and comfort throughout the procedure by observing via control room windows and closed circuit TV Evaluate image quality in real time on the display screen, ensuring clear, diagnostic-quality results Use the camera system to photograph essential images, inputting precise data for accurate documentation Diligently alert staff about the danger of magnetic fields to prevent entry into the MRI room wearing or carrying any ferromagnetic objects Support the team with additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of recent experience in MRI imaging Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient care and safety Proficiency with MRI computer systems and imaging protocols Ability to work effectively as part of a patient-centered team This role provides an excellent platform to deepen your imaging skills while contributing to outstanding patient care.
