Job Description

Company Description Garden State Orthopaedic Associates is a leading orthopedic practice with six state-of-the-art offices across New Jersey. Our team of board-certified orthopedists and physician assistants specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Committed to delivering exceptional care, we combine advanced technology with a patient-centered approach to support recovery and overall musculoskeletal health. Role Description This is an on-site role for a Float X-ray Technologist located in Fair Lawn, Clifton, Mahwah, Paramus, and Iselin, NJ. The X-ray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment while adhering to radiation safety practices. Responsibilities include positioning patients for radiographs/occasional OR procedures, assist with coverage for staff callouts and PTO, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accuracy and quality in diagnostics. Qualifications Must hold a valid NJ State License Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and ability to implement them effectively Proficiency in operating Radiologic Technology and performing imaging procedures Understanding of Radiology and the application of medical imaging in diagnosing conditions Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and patient-focused communication Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting Prior experience in an orthopedic or healthcare environment is a plus

From $42.00 per hour
