Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current certification in CT imaging (ARRT preferred) Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience in a hospital or acute care environment Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with venipuncture and power injector protocols BLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures with professionalism and attention to patient care Obtain and prepare supplies for procedures following established protocols Ensure sterility and organize necessary instruments Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide comfort and information Vigilantly monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections Coordinate workflow, triage and prioritize procedures based on urgency Maintain accurate records, prepare requisitions, and ensure timely image processing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CT unit, equipment, and storerooms Notify appropriate personnel about equipment malfunctions and supplies needs Ensure quality assurance measures and compliance with safety standards
