Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled X-ray Technologist to provide essential imaging services on a contract basis. Utilize your technical expertise to support diagnostic care in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in radiography, ready to make an impact during overnight hours.
Schedule/Hours:
Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
Qualifications:
Current NJ Radiology License required Certification with ARRT (R) is mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency in imaging procedures, specifically X-ray Excellent patient communication and care skills Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray equipment to produce quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Prepare and position patients according to procedure protocols, ensuring safety and comfort Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Ensure radiation safety measures are followed at all times Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver prompt, patient-centered care Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting malfunctions as needed Adhere to infection control and regulatory compliance standards
