Pay:
Up to $101/hour Job Summary Pride Health is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a contract opportunity in New York, NY. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality radiographic standards in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and produce high-quality images
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment
- Review and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy
- Document patient procedures and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Monitor and maintain inventory of radiology supplies
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance Requirements
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT)
- ARRT Certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of X-ray/diagnostic imaging experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient or hospital-based imaging settings
- Strong patient care and teamwork skills
