In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient evaluation and treatment. Your expertise will support accurate diagnoses across diverse medical settings, including emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and specialized imaging departments. Duties Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Assist with advanced imaging modalities such as PET scans, CT scans, mammography, DEXA scans, sonography, and nuclear medicine procedures. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation and proper image interpretation. Keep detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs. Stay current with evolving medical imaging technologies and best practices in diagnostic radiology. Qualifications Minimum 1+ year of experience in medical imaging with proficiency in X-ray techniques. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) for New Jersey is required. Knowledge of Orthopedic imaging and procedures a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality images Interested candidates please submit your resume today!
