Radiologic Technologist

PT Position, 2-3 days a Week General Summary Works under the supervision of physicians and the practice manager. Essential Job Responsibilities Provides comprehensive care to patient requiring medical imaging services in an organized and systematic manner according to established departmental policies and procedures Accepts responsibility for appropriate and safe use of equipment and resources, and accurately performing radiographic procedures Instructs the patients to undergo the appropriate positions to get accurate images Keeping radiographic equipment in quality working order Obtaining images for any areas requested by the physician or radiologist Maintains appropriate record keeping Preventing exposure from certain areas of the patient's body to avoid radiation exposure Daily resource management (time, materials, supplies, equipment) Demonstrates the ability and competency to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations Other similar and related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Previous experience in Radiology with proficiency in X-Ray Graduate of approved school of Radiology and NJ State licensed. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical practice services and routines Certified AART and BLS Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities Experience working with Electronic Medical Record system (Athena preferred), medical charts. Strong customer service skills Reliable transportation; travel between office locations may be required. Why Join Us? Salary Range (Based on Experience) $30.93 - $39.66
