MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon start. BLS certification required upon start. Minimum 1.5 years of MRI technologist experience; experience with inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations preferred. Experience operating GE 450W and GE Signa Excite scanners preferred. Ability to perform a full spectrum of MRI studies. No cardiac MRI performed onsite. Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred. Willingness to adhere to unit scrub color policy (black). Typical shift times:

13:30-22:00.

Weekly shift distribution example:

Tues & Thurs 13:30-22:00; Web & Fri 14:30-22:00; Sat 07:30-18:00. Manager is flexible on schedule; discuss during interview.

Case volume:

Approximately 15 cases per day.

On-call expectation:

one 8.5-hour day per week and one 24-hour weekend every five weeks. Block scheduling may be an option; discuss during interview.
