Core responsibilities include:
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors
  • Responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards
  • Prepare and educate patients for X-Ray procedures
  • Ensure stretchers and chairs are locked in position before transferring the patient
  • Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns prior to and during imaging
  • Operate X-Ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
  • Follow established protocols to ensure accurate imaging while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Review images for clarity and proper positioning
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and any relevant observations
  • Confirm the patient's identity by requesting their full name and date of birth
  • Ensure the patient's name matches the information on their chart for accurate identification and safety
  • Promotes cooperation and minimizes disruption to the work environment
  • Knowledge of potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, patients with communicable diseases, and hazardous equipment and/or agents in an OR setting is required, along with the ability to handle these situations appropriately
  • Seeks guidance, direction, and assistance where needed
  • Follows Surgical Studios' Policy and Procedures at all times
  • Maintains a professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Must possess the ability to read and write effectively to understand and communicate essential information, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and documentation requirements
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry with a starting weight of 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
  • Must be able to reach effectively to perform tasks at various heights and positions, ensuring access to equipment and patients as needed
  • Must be able to move heavy equipment
  • Must be able to assist in moving patients of varying sizes and weights (in excess of 100 pounds), ensuring safety and comfort during transfers
  • Other duties as assigned by management Required Skills & Experience
  • Valid NJ State certification and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Valid BLS certification required
  • Recent Operating Room experience required
  • Computer and keyboard proficiency
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ambulatory Surgical Center background experience preferred
  • Orthopedic experience preferred
  • Multi-tasker
  • Candidate should be familiar with
EMR Pay:
$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
