Job Description

NurseIO is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to provide high-quality imaging services in an outpatient surgical setting. The Rad Tech will operate radiographic equipment, assist physicians during procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with radiation safety standards. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and intraoperative imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment safely and effectively. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures. Maintain radiation safety practices for patients and staff. Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report any issues. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Assist physicians and clinical staff during surgical and pain management procedures as needed. Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members. Requirements Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice, if required. Current ARRT certification required. Current BLS certification. Current 2-Step TB test/documentation. Minimum of one (1) year of radiology experience preferred. Previous surgical, orthopedic, spine, pain management, or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred. Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging, fluoroscopy, radiation safety, and patient care practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$54.14 - $65.21 per hour
