Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. Experience with Epic is preferred.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Fluoro experience is required.

Required Credentials:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire.

Unit Details:

• Inpatient radiology role producing diagnostic images while providing patient care in the Radiology Department.
• Cares for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures of the human body.
• Operates imaging equipment and related machinery; verifies and executes physicians' orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams while ensuring patient preparation and safety during procedures.
• Duties include billing, stocking supplies, file maintenance, medical charting, informed consent documentation, quality improvement studies, and patient history/symptoms acquisition.
• Consults with radiologists to determine contrast media and make corrections to improve image quality.
• Role includes OR Suite, Trauma Suite, and portable radiography competency.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call requirements to be discussed during interview.
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
• May be required to assist other modalities within the department or Renown Health System.
