Job Description

Experience:
24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. Experience with Epic is preferred.Requirements:
This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. No previous experience allowed for Staff atProgram:

Required Skills/Experience:
- Fluoro experience is required.
Required Credentials:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire.
Unit Details:
- Inpatient radiology role producing diagnostic images while providing patient care in the Radiology Department.
- Cares for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.
- Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures of the human body.
- Operates imaging equipment and related machinery; verifies and executes physicians' orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams while ensuring patient preparation and safety during procedures.
- Duties include billing, stocking supplies, file maintenance, medical charting, informed consent documentation, quality improvement studies, and patient history/symptoms acquisition.
- Consults with radiologists to determine contrast media and make corrections to improve image quality.
- Role includes OR Suite, Trauma Suite, and portable radiography competency.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Call requirements to be discussed during interview.
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
- Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
- May be required to assist other modalities within the department or Renown Health System.
