Key Qualifications:

Current, active ARRT (MR) certification required Valid MRI Technologist licensure as mandated by state regulations Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and image quality standards Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physicians' orders and established protocols Position patients safely, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and procedural documentation Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control guidelines Care for and maintain MRI equipment, reporting issues as needed Support a compassionate environment by responding to patient questions and concerns
