IQ PET/CT
System- Collaborative Nuclear Medicine Team
- Outpatient and Diagnostic Imaging Environment Position Details
- Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department protocols
- Operate GE Discovery
IQ PET/CT
equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
- Review imaging protocols and verify physician orders prior to procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation within imaging and medical record systems
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
- Assist with quality assurance activities and equipment monitoring Requirements
- GE Discovery IQ experience required
- Must be dual-certified with:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N)
AND ARRT
(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)- Active New York State Nuclear Medicine License required
- Active New York State Radiology License required
- PET/CT experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment Ideal Candidate
- Strong Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT experience
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong technical abilities
- Team-oriented and dependable
