The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate results. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in delivering high-quality imaging services that support effective diagnosis and treatment planning. Duties Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment during all procedures. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to evaluate images for quality and diagnostic accuracy, providing insights based on anatomy knowledge and diagnostic evaluation skills. Monitor patient physiology during procedures, adjusting imaging parameters as necessary to optimize image quality. Keep detailed records of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually improve service quality. Skills Proficiency in MRI operations. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and interpret images. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to radiology and diagnostic evaluation processes. Expertise in aseptic technique to ensure infection control during all procedures. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to MRI equipment and other imaging devices efficiently. Excellent communication skills for clear patient instructions and effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
