This advanced-level technologist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities, including X-Ray and CT based on departmental needs and operational priorities. The ideal candidate is a versatile imaging professional with demonstrated expertise in multiple modalities and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary of $79,886 for Level II and $97,610 for Level III Full-time and part-time opportunity Stable schedule with rotating weekends and holidays Comprehensive public-sector union benefits package Pension and retirement benefits Paid time off and holidays Professional development and career advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and regulatory requirements. Operate and maintain proficiency in multiple imaging modalities, including Mammography, CT, and MRI as applicable to credentialing and departmental needs. Administer IV contrast agents in accordance with NYSDOH regulations, facility policies, and patient safety standards. Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, preparation, and education prior to imaging procedures. Monitor patients during and after contrast-enhanced examinations and respond appropriately to adverse reactions. Maintain image quality standards and ensure accurate documentation within electronic medical record and PACS systems. Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams. Assist with workflow optimization and support departmental operational needs across imaging service lines. Minimum Qualifications Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License. Current ARRT Certification in Radiography [R]. ARRT certification in at least one (1) advanced imaging modalities from Computed Tomography (CT) Current NYSDOH authorization/registration for IV contrast administration. Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging with demonstrated competency across multiple modalities. Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient safety standards, and quality assurance practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. Why Join Us?
