Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temp Technologist specializing in X-Ray imaging to join our healthcare team during daytime shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of medical imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, PET scans, and sonography, with experience in emergency and trauma settings. This position emphasizes precision, adherence to aseptic techniques, and effective communication within multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining accurate imaging records, and supporting clinical evaluations with technical expertise. The role requires a proactive approach to diagnostic evaluation and familiarity with physiology and anatomy to optimize imaging outcomes. Duties Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT scans, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, and sonography in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Ensure patient positioning, immobilization, and safety measures are correctly implemented to obtain high-quality images. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout all procedures. Assist in urgent care and emergency room settings by providing rapid imaging support for acute patient assessments. Collaborate with radiologists and medical teams to interpret images accurately and support diagnostic evaluations. Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision while adhering to safety guidelines for radiation exposure. Document all procedures thoroughly within the medical record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Support the preparation of patients for specialized scans such as MRI (including MRI safety protocols) or DEXA assessments. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to various imaging modalities to enhance diagnostic accuracy. Participate in ongoing training related to diagnostic radiology advancements, including nuclear medicine techniques like PET scans.
Required :
Min. 1-year CURRENT X-Ray experience;•
