Per-Diem Shift 1 Job Description The Radiologic Staff Technologist is responsible for Providing health care services including but not limited to, applying X-Ray energy, to assist in diagnosis to treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner and in accordance with the American Society of Radiologic Technologist. Education And Credentials High school education, completion of an approved program of training by AART required. Completes basic CPR course annually. Registered or Registry Eligible for AART. Must be New York State licensed radiologic technologist required. Continuation of training by hospital in service and by professional seminars, workshops, or by professional organization required. Experience Requires critical thinking skills, working collaboratively with a variety of licensed and non licensed professional internal and external to hospital operations, application of clinical knowledge and skills in performance of educational materials and clinical procedures, decisive judgment in emergent situation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
