  • Full-time Bone Density / X-Ray Technologist (DEXA Required) Monday-Friday | No Evenings | No Weekends About Us Rheumatology Consultants, LLP is a busy, well-established rheumatology practice providing comprehensive outpatient services including infusion therapy, laboratory services, digital x-ray, and bone density testing.
We are seeking an experienced Bone Density / X-Ray Technologist to join our team. Position Summary The primary responsibility of this position is performing bone density (DEXA) examinations.. Responsibilities Perform bone density (DEXA) scans independently and accurately. Position patients appropriately and ensure high-quality studies. Perform routine quality control and equipment checks. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with digital x-ray examinations as needed. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Provide outstanding patient care and professionalism. Required Qualifications Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License. Experience performing DEXA/Bone Density examinations independently. Ability to interpret scan quality and recognize technical issues requiring correction. Experience with outpatient imaging workflows. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently.
