Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Travel X-Ray Technologist Assignment | Ithaca, NY A travel X-Ray Technologist is needed for a full-time contract assignment in Ithaca, New York. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced radiologic technologist comfortable working across a broad range of diagnostic, fluoroscopy, trauma, OR, and interventional procedures in a busy hospital environment.

Department Environment:

3 X-Ray rooms 1 Interventional Radiology room 1 Pain Clinic room Coverage includes OR, ER, inpatient, and walk-in X-ray services 212-bed facility Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray experience ARRT (R) certification (required) New York State License required Strong experience with: Routine diagnostic radiography Fluoroscopy procedures including barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, and hysterosalpingograms Trauma and Operating Room procedures Sterile technique and radiation safety practices Experience assisting with IR procedures such as: Nephrostomy tubes Drainage catheter placement Power port removals Tunneled catheters Pelvic venograms Additional interventional procedures Must be self-motivated with strong teamwork and customer service skills Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome Explore Ithaca, New York Known for its beautiful waterfalls, lakes, and hiking trails Vibrant college-town atmosphere with excellent restaurants, arts, and culture Access to the Finger Lakes wine region and outdoor recreation Unique blend of scenic beauty and lively downtown energy Working with
