Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare technology career as a skilled technologist specializing in CT and PET imaging. This part-time contract opportunity enables you to make a direct impact on patient care while utilizing your expertise in advanced imaging modalities.
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
Valid NYS License Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) CT Certification Strong background in hospital-based imaging settings Certifications must be clearly indicated on your resume
Desired Expertise:
Competence in performing both CT and PET imaging procedures Familiarity with hospital protocols and standards for imaging Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols Ensure accurate patient positioning, data acquisition, and image quality control Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the hospital's electronic systems Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, colleagues, and self Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, promoting comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues as they arise This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced imaging professional seeking weekend hours and a dynamic hospital environment.
