Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled CT and CT/PET Technologist is sought for a full-time contract assignment starting as soon as possible. This position requires expertise in advanced imaging techniques, focusing on both CT and PET modalities, supporting a busy clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours 5.5 shifts per week, 8-hour nights (specific scheduling details provided at interview)
Key Qualifications:
Current certification or registry in CT and PET imaging (ARRT (CT), NMTCB, or equivalent preferred) Prior experience operating CT and PET/CT systems in a healthcare environment Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Ability to work independently with safe and accurate patient positioning and image acquisition Detail-oriented with reliable documentation skills and adherence to privacy standards
Core Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and monitor for optimal functionality Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff for efficient workflow Document and electronically store completed studies in line with facility requirements Benefits include a supportive work environment designed for professional growth, and experience working with leading-edge imaging technology in a dynamic healthcare setting.
