MRI Technician - per diem We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality images are captured, while providing a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities :

Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images of internal organs and tissues. Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and preparing patients for exams. Follow established protocols for positioning patients and equipment to obtain optimal images. Assist patients during procedures, providing comfort and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures. Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions. Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare team members, and radiologists. Stay current on advancements in MRI technology and imaging techniques.

Requirements:

One year of full-time experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist Valid state radiology registration as required by state law Registry by the

American Registry of Radiologic Technology Job Types:

$45.00 - $47.00 per hour
