Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Take the next step in your healthcare imaging career as a skilled CT Technologist. This contract opportunity enables you to utilize your expertise in computed tomography within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Work five days per week during daytime shifts and play a key role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging for patients, aiding clinical teams in effective diagnosis and care planning. This role includes occasional coverage at a secondary location one day per week, offering diverse experience in two modern facilities.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour day shifts per week Primary assignment in Mount Kisco, NY Travel to a Danbury, CT location required one day weekly
Qualifications and Skills:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT preferred) Demonstrated clinical experience in hospital or outpatient imaging, specifically in CT Familiarity with safety procedures and proper operation of CT equipment Competency in patient positioning and protocol optimization for individualized imaging Commitment to maintaining patient comfort and privacy Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities BLS certification and compliance with current healthcare regulations
Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment and perform studies as prescribed by ordering providers Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure their safety throughout Evaluate imaging quality, review results, and collaborate with radiologists Manage patient records accurately and adhere to facility protocols Maintain clean, safe, and stocked workspaces Adapt to the needs of a dynamic workflow, including rotating to the secondary location
