Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Contribute your specialized skills in mammography to a supportive imaging department dedicated to high-quality patient care. This contract opportunity in a busy New York City healthcare setting allows you to apply your expertise as a Mammo Tech in a collaborative environment focused on diagnostic excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) required Demonstrated clinical competency in performing digital mammography and related procedures Strong knowledge of safety regulations and imaging best practices Current BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in mammography Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring image quality and patient safety Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, accurate results Document patient histories and maintain accurate imaging records within the electronic medical system Uphold infection control policies, equipment maintenance, and department protocols Support quality improvement and compliance activities as needed
